What is your patient care philosophy?
My patient care philosophy is that I treat the person, not just the condition. I like to collaborate with my patients to establish care plans that empower them to achieve optimal health.
How does your work improve lives?
After 30 years of nursing, I became a family nurse practitioner in hopes of improving both access to and the quality of care for rural and underserved populations.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I married my high-school sweetheart, and in my free time I like to crochet, read, bake, build things, paddle-board, go fresh-water fishing, and spend time outdoors. My career is fulfilling because I get to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
